Okay okaaay it's my first rock concert. First concert ever actually. Hehe. Anyway I'm thinking;
“Gosh.. what do I wear? How do I act? What do I do when I get there?”
Haha.. So I did some research and found these tips to be quite helpful. But still doesn't give me an epiphany of what to wear on that day though *sigh*
STEPS:
1. Really, it is down to what you wear. If you do not feel comfortable in the outfit you have chosen or if it is “not you”, you are going to have a rubbish time.
2. Dress casually. You can never go wrong with a plain black tee-shirt and jeans. Avoid wearing the a shirt of the band you are going to see; you will either look like a complete fangirl or a tool. Also, think carefully if you are planning on wearing a skirt, because it can get flipped up very easily, especially if you are in a mosh pit. However, concerts get very hot so sometimes a short skirt is a good idea. Just make sure you remember to wear little shorts underneath.
3. Do not wear your best clothes. They will get smoky. They will get sweaty. It will not be pleasant. Also if you are planning on really getting into the crowd, your clothes could get ripped.
4. Choose comfortable shoes, like black Converse or skate shoes of any kind. Avoid open-toed shoes because your feet will most likely be stepped on.
5. Wear black eyeliner. If you do not know how to apply it, look it up.
6. Wear your hair in a low ponytail if it is long, or just leave it down if it is shorter (shoulder length of less).
7. If you have a seat in an upper level, move down to the edge of the balcony and watch the show from there. It will be easier to see and easier to move around. If you have a seat in the lower level, try to rush to the floor as soon as the show starts. If you can’t, try to get as close to the floor as you can.
8. Just have a good time. Remember, it is about the music, not what you wear or how you act. It it is a big concert, you will be one of the many thousand people there, and hardly anyone will notice you anyway. So do not stress!
Okay, that's very comforting. Hehe =)
