How to dress and look like you belong at a rock concert

Okay okaaay it's my first rock concert. First concert ever actually. Hehe. Anyway I'm thinking;

“Gosh.. what do I wear? How do I act? What do I do when I get there?”

Haha.. So I did some research and found these tips to be quite helpful. But still doesn't give me an epiphany of what to wear on that day though *sigh*

STEPS:

1. Really, it is down to what you wear. If you do not feel comfortable in the outfit you have chosen or if it is “not you”, you are going to have a rubbish time.

2. Dress casually. You can never go wrong with a plain black tee-shirt and jeans. Avoid wearing the a shirt of the band you are going to see; you will either look like a complete fangirl or a tool. Also, think carefully if you are planning on wearing a skirt, because it can get flipped up very easily, especially if you are in a mosh pit. However, concerts get very hot so sometimes a short skirt is a good idea. Just make sure you remember to wear little shorts underneath.

3. Do not wear your best clothes. They will get smoky. They will get sweaty. It will not be pleasant. Also if you are planning on really getting into the crowd, your clothes could get ripped.

4. Choose comfortable shoes, like black Converse or skate shoes of any kind. Avoid open-toed shoes because your feet will most likely be stepped on.

5. Wear black eyeliner. If you do not know how to apply it, look it up.

6. Wear your hair in a low ponytail if it is long, or just leave it down if it is shorter (shoulder length of less).

7. If you have a seat in an upper level, move down to the edge of the balcony and watch the show from there. It will be easier to see and easier to move around. If you have a seat in the lower level, try to rush to the floor as soon as the show starts. If you can’t, try to get as close to the floor as you can.

8. Just have a good time. Remember, it is about the music, not what you wear or how you act. It it is a big concert, you will be one of the many thousand people there, and hardly anyone will notice you anyway. So do not stress!

Okay, that's very comforting. Hehe =)

Diet starts tomorrow...

What a year to kickstart the New Year with none other than stuffing your face with FOOD! Guess what I had for breakfast the first day of year 2008? Here's a clue: I hail from Klang and the place is known for...??? Yup you got that right, I had good old bah kut teh which eventually broke my new year's resolution to loose weight. Oh well.. guess I could start all over again? Diet starts tommorrow anyway!

This is the true authentic bah kut teh. Check out the ingredients man: pork meat, intestines, mushrooms and the soup, savoury with a tinge of herbal. Taste absolutely great with Yao Char Kway. No matter what other people say, Klang Bah Kut Teh is simply the best! No doubt about it =) The best part is, at every stone's throw away is yet another bah kut teh shop. Just look out for the shop with most patrons. That ought to be a good sign of delicious bah kut teh. Either way, just follow your nose! Hahaha. But seriously we had our fix of bah kut teh in Taman Rasna, known for one of the best places for Klang Bah Kut Teh. Yummy!

Look at that "Ipohmali foodie" dinging into the scrumptious piece of pork *hoink hoink* Bet you can't find bah kut teh as delicious as in Klang aka Bah Kut Teh Heaven!
