HAIRSPRAY-ed.

I have been Hairspray-ed! It was an awesome experience. Although I had to rush from work. Practically running from office. But it was all worth it. Not to mention it was a musical. Made me happy and wanted to sing and dance along. It's a happy movie. A comedy. So colourful and so 60's. The fashion, the style and oh THE HAIR! Welcome to the 60's!

No doubt, John Travolta stole the limelight. I guess some viewer (including me) flocked the cinema just to catch John Travolta in a fat lady suit. And boy, you will not be dissapointed. He looked a really pretty lady although fat. I mean that's his characther, Mrs. Turnblad, the mother of the progatonist of this movie, Tracy Turnblad. James Marsden (from X-Men: Cyclops) looked like he's in a toothpaste comercial, rather than Corny Collins' Show, he kept smiling and showing off his pearly whites. Still outshined by Zac Efron who played Link Larkin, the cutie and most popular boy in Baltimore. And true to its name, hairsprays were used in almost every Corny Collins' Show (talk about polluting the air with aerosol!). Hair wise, big is in! The higher, the bigger, the better.
